Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. This part-time regular position will be based at Fort Qu'Appelle Primary Health Care, providing high-quality patient care to the community.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective care that meets the needs of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' health needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and educating patients and their families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, adhering to confidentiality and privacy standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent diploma in nursing
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Experience working in a community clinic setting, preferably with a focus on primary healthcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Location

This role is based at Fort Qu'Appelle Primary Health Care, located approximately 74 km east of Regina. You will have the opportunity to work in a picturesque rural setting, while still being connected to the larger community.

Please note that this is a part-time regular position, with 6 shifts of 6 hours per 3 weeks. You will be required to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as needed.
