Job Title: Early Childhood Education Worker

Creative Children's Day Care is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education Worker to join our team. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise and train staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote children's development.
  • Lead activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on outings.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Assist in keeping records and preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various media, such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Engage children in activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
  • Establish guidelines for behavior and maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting:

  • Child care centre.
  • Nursery school.
  • Kindergarten.
  • Before and after school programs.

Work Language: English.

Hours: 40 hours per week.
