Job Title: Apprentice Electrician

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Apprentice Electrician to join our team at DASCO Electric Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation of underground wiring and cables
  • Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Design and construct low-voltage (30 to 750V) multiphase service for single or multimeter installations
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and integrity of circuits
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Install power generation, stand-by power generation, and power conditioning systems
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Pre-apprenticeship training
  • Level one apprenticeship training
  • Level two apprenticeship training
  • Level three apprenticeship training
  • Level four apprenticeship training
  • Conventional electrical devices experience
  • Own transportation and valid driver's license
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Team player
