About the Role


We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Caregiver to join our team. As a Personal Caregiver with Bayshore HealthCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing high-quality care and support in the comfort of their own homes.


Job Summary


This is a part-time position, working approximately 20-30 hours per week. You will be responsible for providing personal care and activities of daily living to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assistance with mobility and transfers.


Responsibilities



  • Provide high-quality and compassionate care to clients in their homes, with a focus on maintaining their dignity and independence.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including the use of mechanical lifts and other equipment as required.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning, as needed.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings, providing companionship and social support.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • A reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).
  • A Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience working in home care or a related field, with a focus on personal care and support.

Compensation and Benefits


The salary for this position is estimated at $21.50-$23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
