About the Role

At Health Careers in Sask, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Treatment Scheduler to join our team at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre. As a key member of the medical and/or radiation care teams, you will play a vital role in coordinating treatments for patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule pre-treatment and treatment appointments for patients, ensuring timely delivery of care.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families to provide exceptional patient experience.
  • Accurately collect and record pre-treatment and treatment volumes, as well as other statistical data.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Medical Office Assistant certificate, or Office Education/Secretarial certificate plus completion of Medical Terminology course, or Nursing or Radiation Therapy program.
  • 12 months recent experience working in a medical office environment or hospital unit setting.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Moderate judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
  • Confidentiality and accuracy required.
