About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cabinetmaker's Assistant at R.A.M CONTRACTING LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites, adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Perform Pre-Operational Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Read Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution of tasks.
  • Assist in Demolishing Buildings: Assist in the safe and controlled demolition of buildings, adhering to company protocols and regulations.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and debris from construction sites, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Tend or Feed Machines: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring they are properly maintained and operated.
Work Environment

As a Cabinetmaker's Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, collaborating with our experienced team to deliver high-quality projects. You will be required to work at various locations, including industrial, commercial, and residential sites.

Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Possess excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Weight Handling: Be able to lift and handle materials up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) with ease.
