About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Analyst to join our Wealth Management Performance Management team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing insightful financial analytics and management presentations to senior Finance and Wealth Management Executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team in reporting and analysis of balance sheet management and Net Interest Income (NII), including Liquidity Cost Allocation (LCA) reporting, Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA), and capital.
  • Contribute to the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) process for Wealth Management globally, including periodic forecasts, weekly estimates, annual planning, and 5-year planning.
  • Develop performance reports of the Wealth Management (WM) platform, including summary forecast financials, business unit analyses, commentaries, performance metrics, and trend analyses.
  • Support the WM PM team in preparing monthly and quarterly operating results packages for the WM Operating Committee and quarterly business review packages for senior management.
  • Assist with integrated drivers-based analytics efforts across the WM Platform, focusing on key performance metrics (financial and non-financial) related to the WM industry.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and optimize processes to enhance WM Performance Management effectiveness.
  • Own/support ad hoc projects/initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or a quantitative discipline; prior work experience in wealth management or the broader financial services industry.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and independent worker with a solutions-driven mind-set.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of or experience in the wealth management/asset management industry.
  • Financial modeling skills.
