United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative Limited is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Feedlot Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and maintenance to our clients' micro weigh systems installed at their feedlots.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain equipment according to a planned preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Conduct ad hoc and emergency maintenance as required.
  • Operate and maintain the delivery equipment in accordance with UFA Standards.
  • Install, support, and provide service of new systems.
  • Conduct operational training for new and current customers.
  • Delve bagged additives as required to customers.
  • Take on weekend on-call rotation for emergency service calls.

**Qualifications:**

  • University degree/diploma in Agriculture or a relevant level of field experience.
  • Agricultural background with minimum of 2 years of feedlot cattle experience.
  • Journeyman Experience or livestock management experience would be an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 license, as travel might be required to deliver on sales/service calls.
  • Demonstrated computer and communication skills.
  • Requires a moderate understanding of the agriculture market and business.
  • Excellent customer service/business development orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making and logical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule with overnights as business needs dictate it.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
