Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform brake adjustments as needed.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods in accordance with regulations.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and a valid driver's license (Class 1 or A).
  • Previous experience in the field of employment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
