About the Role

The Technical Artist is a key member of our art team, responsible for bridging the gap between artists and engineers. This role requires a unique blend of artistic and technical skills, with a focus on art production workflows, tools, pipelines, asset optimization, and shader development.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with artists, project managers, and engineers to develop and implement art production workflows and tools.
  • Design and develop shaders, materials, and other visual effects to enhance game visuals.
  • Optimize and integrate assets to ensure seamless game performance.
  • Assume ownership of technical issues and bring them to resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including artists, engineers, and managers.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in cinematic or games production.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent).
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive experience with scripting/programming in Python and C# (C++ is a bonus).
  • Knowledge of 3D art packages (Maya).
