About the Role

Mavis Wellness Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hospital/medical facility or clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Laundry and Linen Services: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Administrative Support: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Work Environment

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail and physical stamina. You will be expected to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
