Pipefitter Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

Journeyperson Pipefitters at Strike Group possess advanced knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, necessary for laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining complex pipe systems and supports. PROJECT DETAILS

• Our team works on various projects, including fall turnarounds and field installations.
• Employees can expect paid travel opportunities and accommodations in remote locations.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints, including Isometrics and P&IDs.
• Assemble piping and valves in module and compressor packages.
• Prepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging.
• Hydrotest, assemble, and install pipe spools in the fabrication facility.
• Measure, cut, and thread pipe to the required shape.
• Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems.
• Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess a valid Journeyperson certificate from the appropriate provincial or federal authority.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of environments.
