Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead large technical projects across various airport systems and applications. This is a permanent position located in Richmond, with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days a week). The client may also be open to contractors.

Key Qualifications
  1. Must Have: 10+ years of experience in Project Management
  2. Previous airport experience on a technical project, including Digital Apron Control Systems, Baggage systems, Network, Access Control, etc.
  3. Nice to Have: Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products
Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring timely completion and within scope.
  2. Lead and manage project teams, providing technical guidance, and work direction to ensure project success.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and business area clients to ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
  4. Identify, track, and resolve project issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines.
  5. Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with the project steering committee, vendors, and business area clients.
  6. Work with the Manager of Organizational Change to ensure effective change management, documentation, and end-user training strategies.
  7. Conduct a formal review with the Steering Committee at project completion to confirm acceptance and satisfaction.
