Contexte

Le Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l'Ontario recherche un candidat qualifié pour occuper le poste d'aide-éducatrice ou aide-éducateur de la petite enfance à terme. Ce rôle est essentiel pour appuyer l'éducatrice ou l'éducateur de la petite enfance dans la mise en œuvre du programme Place des jeunes.

Responsabilités

  • Appuyer l'éducatrice ou l'éducateur de la petite enfance dans la planification et la mise en œuvre d'activités éducatives;
  • Participer à la préparation et à la mise en œuvre de programmes éducatifs pour les jeunes enfants;
  • Travailler en équipe avec les enseignants et les autres membres du personnel pour assurer la qualité de l'éducation;
  • Contribuer à la création d'un environnement de travail positif et inclusif;
  • Effectuer d'autres tâches connexes liées au poste.

Compétences requises

  • Un certificat collégial d'un an en Aide-éducateur à la petite enfance « Early Childhood Assistant Program » ou l'équivalent;
  • Minimum de 6 mois d'expérience à travailler avec des jeunes enfants;
  • Une bonne maîtrise du français et de l'anglais oral et écrit;
  • Savoir travailler en équipe;
  • Bonnes capacités interpersonnelles;
  • Bonnes aptitudes en communication;
  • Aptitude dans la gestion de groupe;
  • Être capable de travailler sous pression dans un environnement mouvementé;
  • Faire preuve d'un bon sens des responsabilités;
  • Avoir des connaissances au sujet des lois pertinentes, des politiques et des procédures du Conseil;
  • Faire preuve d'initiative, de créativité et de débrouillardise;
  • Faire preuve de tact, de diplomatie, de discrétion et de discernement.

Conditions d'emploi

  • Temps partiel (7,5 heures/semaine);
  • Classification 2;
  • Horaire de travail : de 15 h 10 à 16 h 40.
