About the Role

Enercare is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture department. This individual will report to the Director of Enterprise Architecture and play a key role in shaping the company's technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology transformation strategy to align with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead the architectural definition of the Field & Customer Services portfolio, including the design of current and transition state models.
  • Contribute to the definition of architectural principles, roadmap elements, and directives that guide the application of technology within the enterprise.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to create and maintain architectural views and models for the enterprise portfolio.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand how current systems support business functions and cultivate opportunities for improving system positioning.
  • Present strategic and tactical cross-domain and intersystem solution design options and recommendations to decision-makers.
  • Manage the definition of technology standards and lifecycles for technologies that comprise the enterprise portfolio.
  • Coach and guide technologists on intra-system design decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Experience leading the architectural direction of an enterprise portfolio.
  • Experience leading the architectural definition of a business intelligence and data platform initiative.
  • Experience creating and maintaining architectural views and models for an enterprise portfolio.
  • Enterprise Architecture certifications in TOGAF, Zachman, and ArchiMate preferred.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of enterprise architecture modeling and analysis practices.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the changes and trends impacting the technology industry.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of integration patterns and practices.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of software development patterns and practices.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the services offerings of cloud platforms.
