About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team at FIX IT RIGHT APPLIANCE REPAIR. As an Appliance Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances and components, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Electrical Appliances: Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to diagnose faults and repair electrical appliances and components.
  • Prepare Written Estimates: Prepare written estimates of repair costs for customers.
  • Plan Service Routes: Plan service routes to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Refer to Schematic Drawings: Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts and diagnose faults.
  • Advise Customers: Advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment.
  • Use Shop Equipment: Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Language: Russian and Hebrew language skills an asset.
  • Work Setting: Willing to work in various locations, including on-site customer service, rural areas, and urban areas.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and ability to distinguish between colors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in appliance repair.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
  • Language of Work: English.
