As a key member of our team at Fujitsu Limited, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our clients' business strategies and technology platforms. Your expertise in solution architecture will enable you to construct relevant ECM solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges, and develop tailored solutions to address these needs.
  • Provide opportunity pursuit support services, from awareness generation to proposal and closing of the sale.
  • Work closely with business partners and Fujitsu delivery managers to develop platform strategies, investment justifications, business cases, and project plans.
  • Define the approach and estimate the work effort required to implement solutions, and oversee the implementation process as needed.

Project Delivery:

  • Offer thought leadership and project advisory services to key clients on a billable basis.
  • Design and provide direction on business solution architectures and their delivery approach.
  • Ensure the quality of delivered solutions reflects what was proposed, and provide quality assurance services on delivery projects.
  • Develop strategic technical plans and technical application roadmaps.
  • Mentor and coach other Fujitsu staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality solutions.
  • Capture and evolve intellectual assets created during the delivery process, including delivery and process models, estimating and cost models, standard design patterns, and effective resource allocation to projects.

Mandatory Experience:

  • Post-secondary degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of solution architecture experience on IT projects, with a total of 10+ years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality project deliverables on time.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to describe technical issues to both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong analytical ability, with the ability to effectively multi-task and work across several project teams simultaneously.

Desirable Experience/Skills:

  • Experience with AI & Machine Learning, Big Data, Microservices & Containerization, Cloud Architecture, and Knowledge of TOGAF.
  • Understanding of SOA, Enterprise Content Management Platforms and Solutions, Records Management Programs and Software, and experience working in an Engineering environment with technical business users.
  • Experience working with junior technical resources that understand business needs, and experience with design patterns and UML modeling.
  • Experience in the Utilities Sector, and experience in Cloud solution and related offerings.
