Job Title: Residence Dining Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residence Dining Manager to join our team at Dana Hospitality. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our dining units, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and develop menus and recipes in collaboration with our Chef Manager
  • Train and supervise staff to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Control costs by managing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and minimizing waste
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in all work areas
  • Schedule and coordinate employee shifts and work assignments to meet business needs
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in the food service industry as a supervisor
  • ServeSafe and/or FoodSafe certification
  • Superior communication skills in both verbal and written English and/or French
  • Able to effectively handle employee and customer concerns with tact and confidentiality
  • Able to use a computer and related software, including POS equipment
