- Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address clients’ acute, rehabilitative, chronic, or palliative health care needs
- Collaborate with clients, healthcare professionals, and support staff to provide comprehensive care and facilitate client-centered goals
- Evaluate the effectiveness of direct clinical care and education provided to clients and their caregivers
- Recommend and educate clients and their caregivers on the use of appropriate medical equipment, adaptations, and aids
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to client care and workload statistics
- Graduation from an approved school of physiotherapy
- Two years’ recent related clinical experience in a community, geriatric, or rehabilitation setting
- Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Physiotherapy
- Valid BC Driver’s License and access to personal vehicle for business-related purposes
- Demonstrated knowledge of all physiotherapy regimes, ability to communicate effectively, exercise independent judgment, and possess leadership and teaching skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload, work independently and in a team-based environment, and operate related equipment including applicable software applications
