Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Gas Station Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Petro Canada gas station. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in retail management and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Inventory Management:
    • Assign sales workers to duties to ensure efficient customer service and effective merchandise sales.
    • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  • Staff Supervision:
    • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
    • Authorize payments by cheque and supervise staff in handling financial transactions.
  • Customer Service:
    • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience:
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Familiarity with cash handling and financial software.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment, managing a team of up to 2 people. The gas station operates 35 hours per week, with varying shifts.
