Job Overview

Shades 4 U Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Vice President of Operations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of software development experience, a solid electronics foundation, and a proven track record of managing complex projects, with 2 years of supervising experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the research, development, and production of a range of new Smart Glass products, manufactured in-house.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers, installers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
  • Develop and implement a robust operational strategy, aligned with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate entry into the Smart Glass market for equipment and installation in Canada.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients and senior management in new regions and segments, using online web and social mediums.
  • Build strategic relationships with other complementary engineering and manufacturing firms for sub-contracting and supply.
  • Develop design capabilities with a focus on Smart Glass software, designs, and technology.
  • Responsible for leading sales opportunities, including costing, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software design and development.
  • 2+ years of experience in management or supervision.
  • 5+ years of technical knowledge in Electronics.
  • Preferred experience in online marketing and web management.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and leadership.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles.
