Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Management Systems Coordinator to join our team at Linamar Corporation. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and operation of our quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of the quality management systems audit program, including planning, scheduling, preparing, auditing, reporting, and follow-up to closure to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Coordinate third-party audits and assist with customer and/or supplier second-party audits.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, and training requirements of personnel related to the effective implementation and operation of quality systems.
- Train employees on key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate TS16949/ISO14001/QS9000 training and internal auditor training on a 3-shift basis.
- Report on outstanding corrective actions and facilitate problem-solving activities.
- Lead and monitor layered audits, the QSB system, and prepare monthly reports for the Program Owner's Committee (POC).
- Organize documentation reviews for the POC on a regular basis.
- Monitor customer websites and provide status reports.
- Update and distribute documentation as required.
- Participate in the certification of manufacturing operators.
- Participate in seminars, courses, and other learning opportunities through the organization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience in a quality or manufacturing environment.
- Vast functional knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and the TS16949, ISO9000, and ISO14001 standard requirements.
- Auditing background.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to use basic computer applications and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to continuously learn to keep up with new technologies, products, information, and regulatory changes within the industry.
