About the Role

Prophix is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining the front end and back end of our Craft CMS website.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly monitor, update, and maintain the frontend and backend of the Craft CMS website to ensure optimal performance, functionality, and security.
  • Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements, using Craft CMS to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency across all pages.
  • Install, configure, and manage plugins and modules within Craft CMS to enhance website functionality and meet specific requirements as needed.
  • Implement custom solutions and develop new features using PHP, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript to improve user experience and meet project objectives.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix any issues or bugs in the website, ensuring a seamless user experience across different devices and browsers.
  • Optimize website performance by analyzing and improving page load times, optimizing images and code, and implementing best practices for SEO and accessibility.
  • Implement A/B tests using appropriate tools and technologies, ensuring accurate setup and seamless user experience across different devices and browsers.
  • Monitor Web analytics and A/B test performance, collect relevant data, and conduct rigorous statistical analysis to draw actionable insights.
  • Continuously iterate and refine testing strategies based on learnings and emerging trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in web development and management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Intermediate knowledge of PHP, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in Craft CMS or similar content management systems.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Experience with A/B & multivariant testing methodologies and technologies.
