Visual Effects Artist

We are seeking a skilled Compositor - Film to join our team at Soho VFX Inc. as a temporary position. The successful candidate will have a strong background in visual effects and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-quality project designs using specialized software and graphic palettes.
- Digitize images using peripherals and transform them using retouching systems.
- Produce computerized images and drawings that meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- College/CEGEP education in a relevant field.
- 1-2 years of experience in visual effects or a related field.
- Proficiency in Nuke and other relevant software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A welcoming and inclusive work environment that values diversity and cross-cultural training.
- Cultural competency training and awareness to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work overtime as needed. The work will involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will require hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
