About the Role:

At HEM RAJ SACHDEVA, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the client's home is safe and healthy.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients with personal care, such as toileting and dressing, promoting their dignity and independence.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with seniors or elderly individuals is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client boundaries.
