Master Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Master Fabricator - Welding Specialist to join our team at Germain Jette Machineries Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with experience working with various materials including aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and steel.

• Interpret complex welding process specifications to ensure high-quality welds
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, as well as fully automated systems
• Examine welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 2 years of experience in fabrication and welding
• Familiarity with shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The successful candidate will be working in an industrial setting with a moderate noise level. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and wearing steel-toed safety boots.
