  • We partner with clients to solve their most complex problems related to intellectual property rights and licensing of technology.
  • We collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product teams, marketing, and business development, to ensure legal compliance and risk management.

About the role

The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in intellectual property and product work, with a strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide legal support and advice related to IP and product development.
  • Drive IP strategy and serve as a subject matter expert in the commercialization of IP, navigating complex IP issues.
  • Assist in establishing Deloitte's IP Committee and being an advisor on same.
  • Provide IP legal support for client engagements related to intellectual property rights and licensing of technology.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Law degree qualified in Ontario or other Canadian Province.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or other Canadian Province.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position - Quebec based only.
