Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Prince George. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our branch, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management
    • Hire, supervise, and manage a team of employees to achieve business objectives.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team morale and productivity.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee the facilities, health and safety, vehicles, and equipment of the branch.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop integrated positioning strategies to increase brand exposure.
  • Financial Management
    • Report and analyze the financial health of the branch using income statements and key performance indicators.
    • Plan and manage branch inventory to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Knowledge and Reporting
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
    • Provide accurate and timely reporting on key performance metrics to senior management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in management or supervisory roles with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • A class 5 driving license.
  • Technical background: experience in the energy industry is an asset.
  • Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Products.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $50,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
