Quality Assurance (QA) Role

As a Quality Assurance (QA) professional at Archon Systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and report defects, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve the overall quality of our software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough testing of our software applications to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with our development team to reproduce and resolve defects, as well as implement fixes and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Collaborate with our product management team to prioritize and plan testing efforts, as well as provide input on product requirements and design.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and customers, to ensure that issues are resolved and that quality expectations are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our testing processes and tools are current and effective.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in software testing or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and reproduce defects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and testing tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple testing tasks.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to write test scripts and automate testing efforts.
