Family Physician Opportunity in Campbell River

We are seeking a full-time Family Physician to join our team at Cedar Street Medical in Campbell River. As a Family Physician, you will be working in a newer clinic in downtown Campbell River, building a practice that suits your interests and skills.
About the OpportunityOur clinic is a brand new building with abundant space and natural light throughout. We have a procedure room with an electric bed to make positioning for procedures easier, as well as a shared office space for collaborative working with colleagues in the office.
We are involved in our Primary Care Network (PCN) and have access to a registered dietitian, clinical pharmacist, and social worker for our patients. We also have a billing expert on site regularly.
Our team consists of two Family Physicians and a Nurse Practitioner, and we share our excellent admin staff amongst the providers. We use the Oscar EMR system hosted through Juno, and providers bill under the LFP system.
We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for in-patient work at the hospital, including group weekend coverage options. We also have a teaching office with medical students and residents around regularly, and we can support you in more teaching opportunities if you are interested.
BenefitsMay be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including:
- Recruitment Incentive - $10,000
- Fee Premium - 6.93%
- Annual Flat Fee - $10,520
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to a maximum of $15,000 (amount based on funding availability and on location relocating from)
- Rural CME starting at $2,000/annum in years 3 & 4 in the community, increasing to a maximum of $4,000/annum after 4 years
