Job Title: WAN Security Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled WAN Security Engineer to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a WAN Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting advanced WAN Optimization / Security solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales team in analyzing client requirements and leading the design and deployment of networking solutions to support business needs.
  • Develop technical solutions and write detailed reports for projects employing complex technologies.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and estimates of moderate complexity, employing project management capabilities.
  • Sell professional services related client solutions.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of networking and WAN acceleration / security product lines.
  • Previous experience in content switching.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people in a high volume/high stress technical support environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites.
  • Reliability Status Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
  • Bilingualism (English & French) an asset.

Education / Certification:

  • Post-Secondary education in a related technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior experience in WAN Acceleration and Experience an asset.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Familiarity with the methodologies and techniques of technical development, implementation, and operational management.
