About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fired Heater Integrity Specialist to join our team at 09 Irving Oil Limited. As a key member of our Fired Heater Integrity Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our combustion equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our operations team to ensure compliance with process safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into fired equipment abnormalities and develop recommendations for corrective action.
  • Perform data analysis of turnaround inspection results and provide insights to inform maintenance and repair decisions.
  • Support capital project work involving fired equipment, including design, procurement, and installation.
  • Prepare and review engineering work orders and inspection reports related to fired heaters.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including instructions and standards for fired equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of combustion equipment and process safety principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
