Aerospace HR Business Partner Opportunity

The Senior HR Business Partner for the UK Engines business will play a pivotal role within the UK Engines leadership team, reporting directly to the Regional HR Director. This esteemed position holds significant accountability, focusing on Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, and Leadership Development for the Engines Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative strategies to address business challenges and cultural transformations.
- Design and coordinate long-term talent management plans to enhance organizational capability.
- Collaborate with Business Leadership on growth initiatives, including acquisitions, integrations, and TUPE.
- Provide coaching and guidance to line managers on people-related matters.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues effectively.
- Foster strong partnerships with recognized trade unions.
- Ensure consistent and fair application of organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with StandardAero practices and procedures, working closely with the broader HR team.
- Presentation of regular and ad-hoc reports, documentation, and relevant presentations.
Position Requirements:
- MCIPD or equivalent foundational knowledge in HR principles.
- Proficiency in employment law and regulatory requirements.
- Availability to support operational needs, work strategically with Engines leadership, and respond to emergent issues at designated work locations.
Preferred Characteristics:
- Experience in manufacturing, particularly in the military, energy, or aviation sectors.
- Background in multi-site unionized environments.
- Proven experience in managing complex employee relations cases, including dismissals.
- Expertise in networking to deliver results in highly matrixed organizations valuing collaboration.
- Experience operating within complex international companies respecting corporate compliance and approval protocols.
