Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team at Plantscape (Windsor) Inc. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, applying fertilizers, and writing daily progress reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flowers.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape.
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns to ensure they are well-manicured and free of debris.
  • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and other yard waste.
  • Lay sod or seed to repair damaged lawns and maintain their appearance.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth and maintain the overall health of our landscapes.
  • Write daily progress reports to keep management informed of your activities and any issues that may arise.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care and attention.
  • Assess the health of lawns and take corrective action as needed to maintain their appearance and overall health.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
  • English language proficiency is required for this position.
