Job Summary

Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Orthopedic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our orthopedic team, you will provide a complete range of orthopedic technology services, including performing skills related to the care of a diverse population of patients, pediatric and adult, requiring the services of orthopedic surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Orthopedic Surgeons and in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team, provide orthopedic technology services.
  • Perform skills related to the care of a diverse population of patients, pediatric and adult, requiring the services of orthopedic surgery.
  • Work effectively with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in orthopedic technology.
Requirements
  • Registered with Canadian Society of Orthopaedic Technology.
  • Certificate as Advanced Registered Orthopaedic Technologist.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Registered Orthopaedic Technologist.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, make recommendations, and implement action plans.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Self-motivated and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions.
  • Ability to work effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
