Solutions Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join our team at a large investment/financial services firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in technology solution architecture within Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and the ability to lead, influence, and communicate with the mindset of an enterprise architect.

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for developing solution architectures that enable the future SRE capabilities within the enterprise. They will play a pivotal role in establishing, scaling, and optimizing SRE practices, tools, and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with architects, software/data/cloud engineers, and product owners in an agile environment to create solution architecture design for Cloud and On-Premises technology solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
  2. Construct architectural artifacts in support of the solution design of robust, reusable, scalable, and secure technology solutions leveraging approved component architecture standards, architectural patterns, and reference architectures.
  3. Design APIs and data delivery services to support critical operational processes, analytical models, and machine learning applications.
  4. Manage stakeholder communication, presenting complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
  5. Service delivery automation architect, transform IT service delivery through a streamlined, secure, and efficient automated service delivery process.
Requirements:
  1. Five years plus of collective experience in the application of architecture, enterprise roadmaps, analytics, cloud, IT strategies, innovation, agile, and waterfall methodologies.
  2. Experience with:
    1. Architecting, building, and administering complex architectures and SRE technologies.
    2. Architecting scalable containerized applications with container orchestration framework.
    3. Experience with DevOps methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
