About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Garderie éducative sur les traces de Bambi Inc. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our daycare centre or nursery school.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that support the well-being of children
  • Keep records of children's progress and development
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various activities
  • Engage children in storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Basic security clearance
  • Vulnerable sector check
