Job Title: House Cleaning Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented House Cleaning Assistant to join our team at House Cleaning BC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and dust-free space
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable living space
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Stock linen closet to ensure a sufficient supply of linens
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy space
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and sparkling appearance
Requirements:
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
