Job Title: Registered Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. As a Registered Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adequate stock levels in staging and cleanroom areas to support production needs.
  • Compound TPN orders following prescribed procedures in a cleanroom setting for the majority of your shift.
  • Prepare cleaning and stock solutions according to specified measuring and mixing guidelines.
  • Select, inspect, and confirm all production components based on production documentation.
  • Adhere to line clearance procedures throughout the production process.
  • Carry out validation, calibration, and microbiological checks as required by standards and procedures.
  • Accurately complete all necessary Quality Assurance documentation during production.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of products as dictated by procedural guidelines.
  • Properly label and package finished products to maintain identification and quality for shipping and use.
  • Help clean equipment, totes, and work areas, ensuring compliance with the pharmacy's standards.
Requirements:
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in Alberta and in good standing with the College of Pharmacy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for sterile compounding (training provided).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills.
