Job Summary
Island Health is seeking a Physician to provide inpatient care at Cowichan District Hospital. As a Family Medicine Inpatient Care Specialist, you will work in a highly valued and rewarding service in our community hospital.
About the Role
You will provide coverage to a range of inpatients, working in a hospitalist-like team for unattached patients. Full and part-time shifts are available, with load limits of 10/15/20 patients based on your preference and other commitments.
What We Offer
We pride ourselves in being flexible and supportive, with many physicians providing longitudinal care, maternity, or other work in addition to this service. You will be well-supported by our specialists and work in a high-functioning interdisciplinary team.
Benefits
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including a Recruitment Incentive, Relocation, Flat Fee, Fee Premium, and CME.
