Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various settings, including residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for tile installation, ensuring they are clean, dry, and free of debris.
- Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Install tiles, aligning them with precision and ensuring a level surface.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles, using hand and power tools as needed.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, and repair surrounding areas.
- Install tile strips and mosaic tiles to create decorative designs.
- Work with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a smooth installation process.
- 1-2 years of experience in tile installation.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
LanguageThe primary language of work is English.
Work ScheduleThe work schedule is 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
