Karis Disability Services is committed to providing exceptional support to individuals with disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team as a Casual Direct Support Professional.

Key Responsibilities

The Casual Direct Support Professional provides call-in or back-fill support to people supported, assisting with activities of daily living and working within the protocols of the location. They work collaboratively with other employees on shift to provide supports and services to individuals, ensuring a high level of care and respect.

Requirements
  • Able to access reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-6 months of experience in a related field (volunteer or employment)
  • Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
