We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Relations Specialist to join our team at BC Hydro. The successful candidate will have a strong background in labour relations, human resources development, and business administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective labour relations strategies to maintain positive employee relations
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on workplace issues and concerns
  • Collaborate with management to resolve conflicts and improve workplace communication
  • Stay up-to-date with labour laws and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioural Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in labour relations, human resources development, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment
