Electrical Coordinator Job Description

Borea Construction is seeking an experienced Electrical Coordinator to join our team. As an Electrical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the coordination of electrical activities related to the collector system and substation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate electrical engineering and maintenance technical requirements with field crews and electrical sub-contractors.
  • Validate the progress of work on the collector system and produce a monitoring report periodically.
  • Coordinate construction in collaboration with the electrical superintendent, environmental engineer, subcontractors, municipal and regional representatives, and the developer/client representative.
  • Develop and implement the quality control program for work related to the collector system.
  • Ensure the application of technical procedures, particularly locking and labelling procedures, in collaboration with the Project Engineer.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or relevant college training.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Mastery of the Office suite and IT tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluent in English, French, an asset.
  • High geographical mobility and availability according to the working hours of the construction site.
  • Excellent team management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Autonomy and leadership.
  • Valid driver's license.
