We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Concept Metal Design Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating various types of welding equipment, and maintaining the quality of metal products.

The Role

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The Fabrication Specialist will be responsible for:

• Interpreting Welding Specifications: Reading and understanding welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate interpretation of designs.
• Operating Welding Equipment: Operating manual or semi-automatic welding machines, as well as other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• Maintenance and Repair: Maintaining and performing minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
• Work Environment: Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar fabrication role.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and ARC.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills for working effectively with colleagues and management.
• Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
