We are seeking a skilled Video Journalist to join our dynamic team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a Video Journalist, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative video content for our various platforms, including our website, social media, and television broadcasts.
Responsibilities:
Research and gather information to produce high-quality video stories
Shoot, edit, and present video content for various platforms
Organize and write engaging news stories under tight deadlines
Present live on-air and on social media platforms
Generate compelling story ideas and knowledgeable contacts
Post to digital platforms throughout the day
Qualifications:
Proven experience in video production and editing
Relevant degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution
Excellent knowledge of the cultural and political landscape of the city
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Must be available to work evenings and weekends
