We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in education and training programs to maintain and enhance clinical skills
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
- 1-2 years acute care experience, with charge nurse experience preferred
- Certification in care of PICC lines and/or blood draws from a PICC line
- Experience in care of medical, post-operative surgical, orthopedic, and Subacute patients
- Connect Care and CoACT experience
- Current ACLS certification
