Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain and enhance clinical skills
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
  • 1-2 years acute care experience, with charge nurse experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in care of PICC lines and/or blood draws from a PICC line
  • Experience in care of medical, post-operative surgical, orthopedic, and Subacute patients
  • Connect Care and CoACT experience
  • Current ACLS certification
