About the RoleThis role involves working with a dispatcher, supervisor, and senior technicians to complete calls efficiently and safely while ensuring compliance with legislative codes, standards, and company policies. You will be responsible for piping and tank installations, final connections to pre-installed equipment, appliance installations, gas check inspections, maintenance cleaning, removal of old propane tanks, and service calls for no heat or hot water issues.
Key Responsibilities- Work with dispatcher, supervisor, and senior technicians to complete calls efficiently and safely.
- Piping and tank installations.
- Final connections to pre-installed equipment.
- Appliance installations.
- Gas check inspections.
- Maintenance cleaning.
- Removal of old propane tanks.
- Service calls for no heat or hot water issues.
To succeed in this role, you must have exceptional customer service skills, G1 or G2 certification, previous appliance installation experience (an asset), and the ability to lift at least 60 pounds occasionally. Comfort with the physical and outdoor nature of the job is also essential. Additionally, you should be able to work a flexible schedule and be on-call when needed. A G license and Clean Driver's Abstract are required.
