Job Title: Accounts Clerk

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our team at Convergence. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the company's financial statements are up-to-date.

About the Job
  • This is a full-time position that requires 32-35 hours of work per week.
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, as well as reconcile accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other financial reports.
  • Use accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to manage financial data.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
