About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Alterations Seamstress to join our team at Holyrood Drycleaners and Tailors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality garment alterations and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Garment Alterations: Fit, alter, and repair garments as required to meet our customers' needs.
  • Fur Garments and Accessories: Make, alter, or re-style fur garments and accessories to the highest standards.
  • Sewing and Fabric Work: Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create high-quality garments and repairs.
  • Marking and Cutting: Mark, cut, and sew fabric to create precise and accurate garment alterations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in garment alterations, dressmaking, or tailoring is an asset.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability are essential for this role.
